Lessons with Dan are highly customized to the needs and skills of the student. Some method books are used but often the lesson materials are custom generated specifically for the individual student.

Dan is very comfortable working with students of all skill ranges from beginning to advanced and teaches ages 5 to 92 (oldest so far!). Dan also has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for those with ADHD or other diagnosis.

Where and when

Lessons with Dan are offered both in person (as of January 2024) in Arlington VA and remotely via Zoom.

Dan teaches in-person lessons Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday.

How much?

Lessons are currently priced (October 2023) at $53 per lesson ($212-265 per month) for weekly half hour lessons and $87 per lesson ($348-435 per month) for weekly hour lessons.

One-off or irregular lessons are 60 minutes at $130 per lesson.

There are discounts in place for multiple family members enrolled in lessons.
